I won't give details, nor say which party will have this encounter or when (or even if), but I was curious about how the group would receive this possibility.Quote:

The troupe about to meet the Oracle is 9th going on 10th.
The Newbies just reached 5th.
The three surviving members of the 1st group are also 11th.
The gaps are closing between the three groups. How does this sound to everyone?
We play the newbies until the missing players return, then we work to wrap up the two ongoing adventures so that everyone will eventually return to the CFI. Since there will be so little difference between levels by that point, we could opt to "mix and match" the characters currently in the mix. This would allow those of us with 3 or 4 characters to play in multiple groups as needed, while those with fewer won't need to feel left out either, and they can place their characters into troupes where there are gaps.
Thus Gralla and Lir might join a troupe with Einkil and Celene, while Allie could join with Lyra and Finley, etc.
Caer Falken has seen a number of deaths over time, starting with Leandra Winterfrost, the first and the last notable death being an entire party.
With Lyssandra's idea of intermingling the characters, I started thinking about the options that might prevail if all of the characters now gone were suddenly available in the character pool once again.
While some people prefer to let sleeping dogs (or dead ones) lie (or RIP), others might be excited to have some old favorites back.
But for such a thing to happen (IF it did), it could potentially cause game disruptions I have not yet foreseen.
I would appreciate everyone's input on this subject...as well as the ones that started this conversation along. I have been putting thought into the game's future, but genuinely wish to do so with YOUR desires and opinions in mind.
I thank you in advance for your cooperation.
