REVIEW: the club jacket is here!

And it is worth every one of the 1600 stars it cost my daughter!!! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
It is great quality, quite pretty (despite a degree of shine that is too much for me, but just right for DD)
Both sides are nice and well finished.
It got home in less than a week and DD can not wait for cooler weather (me too, but for other reasons!)
Overall: well worth stashing away stars to get it.
Now Alice (DDs favorite AGT) needs one. She is sure going to look swell with her platinum blonde hair and a shiny jacket. Sigh! [img]confused.gif[/img]

So would you think that a grownup (at least chronologically, but with fashion sensibilities developed through the 60's, etc.) would like the club jacket or not?

I just got my club jacket for the dolls on Wednesday and I love it. Kailey is wearing it and she also loves it.

Thanks for the review! After these girls save for so long to get something like this it's frustrating to have it not hold up! My daughter has had 3 charms break! The links between the clasp and the bracelet are just not strong enough. [img]frown.gif[/img]

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">As far as charm bracelets go, you absolutely MUST take them to a jeweler to be sodered (sp??) on. They will never fall off this way. I haven't been to a jeweler yet for my non-AG charm bracelet, and I won't wear it until I go.

Definitely it IS shiny, so if you want subdued clothing it is not for you. However the colors are not overwhelming and the overall look is pretty good. Even for an adult.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ana - you are so funny. Thanks for the nice review. We are getting quite a few stars so maybe we will try for the jacket. It sounds nice even though it is shiny.
