The X on my MCM doll is so so so small, they would have to be looking for it. I imagine they'd just pop a new torso on and do whatever they do with the old one, before they even noticed.
I think they still fix silver eye for free.

I had it confirmed in an email about 2 years ago that they will fix silver eye for free, even dolls with an "x".

I read on the message board that a doll with the "X" on the bottom can't be returned to AG but can the doll be sent to the hospital for repair or even to replace the head?
I believe that you can send them to the hospital for repairs, but they won't fix problems for free, you have to pay for them.
Thanks, I new there was a cost but I wasn't sure if there would accept the doll at the hospital in the first place. I suppose if you pay for the replacement head or repair then they wouldn't care about the X. I almost bought a doll on ebay but hesitated because of the x.
Just out of curiosity, what would AG do if you sent in an x-ed doll for a new torso. Even if you paid for it, would they do it? Would they add an x to the new body, or would you get back an x free dolly?
