So cute Heather!!!! I loved it all!!! Especialy the dogs!!!! I loved Molly's red dress!!!! and Ruthie so cute!
Very cute! Making me want coconut for my Dorothy. I also think Tori may be getting the Coconut and matching girl outfit for Christmas so we may really need him. I love the costume you made. Looks like everyone had a great time!
OK so I have a question......
Carolina Coconut looks just lke mine. But yours looks whiter and bigger. Is it just me?
How old is your Coconut? Are there other differences?
Cute pictures! Love the idea of all the travelling dolls and coconuts.
Thanks for your kind responses, everyone! My friend Kristin and I are having a great time with Coconut. He is going with us to the dog agility event this weekend, and then he has to head to his next destination on Monday. *sniff*
Dionne, yes, I guess Ruthie is a OOAK! I never thought of it that way. She is a Kit doll. She got a very, very, very bad haircut, so I got her for extremely cheap on eBay. Her new wig is a human hair wig, so she gets subjected to hot rollers and hair dryers.
Johanna, Carolina Coconut and my Coconut are very different. I got mine in March; he came with Kit as a part of my birthday present. Mine is about 1/2" taller, and Julia's is about 1/2" longer. Mine is very lightweight, and Julia's is quite heavy, like the ones on display at AGP. Her has much more distinct ears, where mine just has two little lumps on his head. Julia's is more of an off-white than mine, but Sunday evening, I groomed them both (a flea comb, 98 cents at Walmart is a GREAT Coconut brush-- light strokes so you don't pull the hair out) and I think that cleaned Carolina Coconut up some. He's had a lot of adventures. Mine is also much more hairy. I'll get some photos of them side-by-side tonight. My Coconut is wearing his new shirt and ball cap!
I love your album!!! I can't wait for the boys to see it. Almost every day they ask "Are there any new Coconut pictures?" We just love reading the stories of everyone.
Coconut is adorable in that Bengals costume. Too funny! I love the photo of Coconut riding the pony. And your Ruthie is fabulous! Do you put ringlets in her hair? Now I can't wait for AG to make Ruthie.
I think my fav photo is Prof McGonagall giving the dolls candy. That looks so real, with the pups looking on with great expectation... Very cute.
Thanks for sharing those photos! Now I can't wait for the agility event. I know nothing of agility events so that will be very interesting.
The more my boys see these photo albums, the more they want a REAL dog.
Heather, thanks for brushing Coconut's fur. We bought a new toothbrush and sawed off the handle to make a brush for Coconut. It works ok but probably removes some hair. Johanna, my Coconuts arrived a creamy color, unlike the whiter new Coconuts. My daughter recently bought one at Barnes & Noble. It looked older and she was hoping it was heavy but it wasn't. The fur is almost the same creamy shade as my two Coconuts though so we figure AG has lightened the fur somewhat recently.
Julia
Thanks for showing us all your photos Heather! The costumes are all so cute!
