well, it's not exactly an action-packed movie, but I did like watching the burners light up.
Does the stove belong to anyone we know?

Yes, it is lack luster in action but the dialogue makes up for the lack of action. However, it is food for thought and a real action packed broiling, cooking, baking, T'well'in video would be a fun thing to do and it could even be used as a tool for those on the fence of "should i keep or shoulld i sell ?"

Asfan,
How did you come across that one???
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to convert my "stuffed grape leaves" recipe to my t-well. I think the rice would be fluffy-er if done in the t-well than stovetop & gentler on the grape leaves.
Too bad you're not here to be my official tester!!

That stove could use a rechroming and a trip to GiGis for some new porcelain. The movie didn't show the use of the thermowell or the great triple pots. Anyone have a camera that can video the range actually in use, actually cooking stuff?

Well that just about sums up my stove...except my right burner comes on after a 3 count delay, probably same chrome condition etc. Was there a safety thing in the storage compartment? Mine doesn't have one.
I bet they are getting ready to sell it and are going to use the video for a 'look/see'...v
Berlyn, For the stuffed grapeleaves...i would start them out on ten minutes of full fire and then turn the gas off for about an hour. I think the real trick is getting your liquid level high enough to cover all the leaves and not be a soupy mess. My T'well rice is really quite exceptional, especially the more exotic rices like the Basmati rices, turn out exceptionally well. NOW, how did I find that Chambers Stove video ? ....it was a dark and stormy night....I needed something to do that would keep me off the streets and out of jail...aha ! The internet to the rescue ! Sites like youtube.com have such a vast array of useless information, I just knew there would be something for me. After using "search" for several other topics, all which were useless....I thought I would just give "Chambers" a try and bingo ! It's a pretty horrible video yet, it is a Chambers stove and that's all that mattered.
