Baxter the Bunny Question

Hi all -

I've got a question about Baxter, who I won on ebay this evening.

I know he is listed as a retired accessory on Curt's site under AGOTs, but was he sold to go along with any certain outfit? Or was he just a "stand alone" accessory?

He goes with the retired AGOT birthday stuff. He was supposed to be a birthday gift.

If this is the little black and white flocked rabbit, I think he originally came with a little cage. He later reappeared in an Easter Basket.

Mine is coming with the cage. I got the bunny, the cage, Coconut, coconut's bed and bone all for the grand sum of $15. I'm a happy camper.

No, the purple dress came out a couple years later.

Baxter goes with the really cool b'day stuff from 1996 -- there's a whole spread of cookout stuff, birthday cake, banner & balloons, the BBQ grill, etc. Baxter was the gift (in his red hutch). The birthday cookout accessories (picnicware, hamburgers, tortilla chips, watermelon, etc) are one of my most favorite accessories of all time!

By the way, how are the kitties?

OK, I guess I needed to be more specific....

In 1996, AG released several different, separate items that were all related by a birthday party THEME. There was a patio set, a BBQ grill, a set of cookout accessories, a b'day cake with party decorations, and Baxter (each sold separately). Baxter came with his hutch and food bowl only and was intended to be the gift for the birthday doll.

Baxter looks cute with Kit also.
