On talking about the new album and the tour....Mick Jagger had these words to say.

This makes me love The Rolling Stones even more than I do now...hahaha!

What happened to the days when a big show was $12 to $20. Man, those were the days.
I remember going to the Rock club in Houston, and paying as low as $5 to see a show..hahaha.

Yep, when I used to go all the time in high school, it was always 3 bands for $20, plus $20 for a concert shirt, and $10 for a case of beer. LOL!

Over the last 6 months, Adler's Appetite, Hanoi Rocks, Faster Pussycat, Enuff Z'Nuff, Dokken and the upcoming Vain gigs have all cost ?12. Tyketto and Danger Danger were ?15.
Gigs and merch are good value for money here, but the bar is where they fleece you.

'Big' shows are still expensive though.
The bigger the band, the more they'll fuck you over.
Prime example: Motley Crue, with Killing Joke - ?30

Who the Fuck buys Rolling Stones albums? Its comdey. They have become a parody of themselves beyond any kind of reason. OK, go and check out a live show. Its cool to hear the tracks in the raw and say youve seen the legend. Its also a wicked live show but they have been stuck in the same anodine musical groove for almost a quarter of a century. Think about it!
What was the last truly inventive and interesting Stones Album. Some Girls? Emotional Rescue? Its gotta be back around there some where. I just cannot see what value they are anymore, other than as rock royalty. Lets face it, what value is royalty these days other than as a tourist attraction.
And that concludes the case for the prosecution. Bah!

And that concludes the case for KISS...they should just call it quits already and all get jobs as Ronald McDonald at different McDonald's Branches. Bah!
