I just clicked on the folder Tony Williams LIVE Iowa CitA989 and it opened with 9 mp3 files.
I got them all to download except Drum Solo/Fred (Fred is one of my all-time fav fusion tunes!)
This is my Tony, just before I
studied with him.
It brings back a lot of memories.
Of course, it's radically different
from the Tony of the 1960's.
You can see and hear how hard he
was playing at the time and the
video shows his single-stroke and
flam emphasis.
Only Tony...
These kinds of performances STILL
influence me TODAY!
I should also say something about in-
comparable Alan Holdsworth! I have
never seen a guitarist like him!
