go into a shoe store at the mall called Champs. Its like Foot Locker or whatever. well for the first time ever I see McFarlane Sports Picks with St Louis players hanging on the pegs. They've got retro Holt and regular Holt! I'm thinking kick ass, I'll bet they're about 14 bucks or something. So the wife asks the chick how much they cost and she says 21.99 each! I said out loud so she could here that its pretty bad when shoe stores are scalping toys. she just smiled. fuckin' crooks
I think they must have some deal where they get players from the teams in their market. All of the Champs stores around here have Bengals Chad Johnson figures.
this one had players from other areas also, but I couldnt say who they were or where from as I only was interested in the reg Holt that is until they said the price
I'll be the 1st to admit I'm a dummy when it comes to sports figs, but I would think a regular fig would be (at least) halfway easy to find...

Same thing goes around here. We have a Sporting Goods place around here that gets SP's in, but they usualy want about 20.00+ per figure. I've seen variants sit there and rot at that price.

bah you think thats bad..here SP figs go for 30-50 USd a pice reguler or variants..and I even think variants go for more .
