You would figure people would actually be taking their Christmas vacation right about now but nooooooooooooooo.. My phone's been ringing off the hook this morning. Then again, if people weren't so absent minded when it comes to their business sales tax it wouldn't be so hard.. Well that and the fact I'm the only damn one answering consolidated phone calls today cause everyone else is either being lazy or didn't come in today!
And the moral of today's story is.....
maybe you should have called in sick as well, or stop caring [img]wink.gif[/img]
I hace just opened my door and blasting Iced Earth, megadeth, old Metallica, Killswitch Engage, and Via Mystica - that is doing a good job at keeping people away from my office to a distance of about 25 paces
I haven't turned the music down when they call either - that cured that after the first two or three calls [img]smile.gif[/img]
I thought this and next week would be nice and quiet too.
My boss is on vacation in Beijing, so I figured his cell phone wouldn't work so he won't be able to call me every 10 minutes to bother me...... well, he managed to find a disposable international cell phone and now calls every 5 minutes becuase he thinks the phone is "so cool" [img]confused.gif[/img]
just answer it "so solly, wrolng numbah"
Mine's a state job, so I can get fired if I did that. The money's too good for this town to get fired from it. I'm gonna start acting like I've got no sense (that won't be hard) and make it look like I forgot how to do something on the phone with the next person and bang my head on the desk really hard and loud and call myself stupid a few times.. Might make my day to imagine the horrified look on their face over the phone.

My previous places I just put a few action figures at the door and my boss and co workers seeme dto stay away. They always muttered "exorsism" for some reason when they walked by
I already have posters I've created on the overhang drawer, and WOR and a couple dragon statues on the desk... And the enterprise-e. It attracts them more then deters them. I work with a buncha freaks. [img]eek.gif[/img]
My office is full of drama this morning... Seems our backup operator changed the backup schedule, and when i rebooted our exchange boxes last night it got interupted... he seems quite pissed about it... he's ranting at me as i type this... huh...
man... he's still standing in front of my desk complaining about it... this is unbelievable...

I've had someone walk by my door 4 or 5 times today and won't come in for some reason.
Well, I am not turning the music down just to listen to them on a Friday before a 3 day weekend
