Getting a new avatar

Click on the my profile link (see upper mid-right screen)..

This will take you to your profile page..

Click on View/update profilelink (see upper left screen)..

This will take you to the page where you can upload your own avatar or you can upload one of the 100 odd avatars already on HB2..

And you can also play with your own personal colours there too.. [img]graemlins/star.gif[/img]

You can find so many pictures..

Try www.google.com and type in avatars..or you can be more precise like I was and typed in female angel avatar..and found my picture..

well I think my problem was that the site I found a pic I liked wouldn't let me link it *L* it kept coming up a box with a lil red x... so I'll keep looking..

is it ok to do them that way?

If you want to use an avatar from another site or if you have one already saved on your computer...its easy..

First save the picture to your computer..then go thru what I described earlier.."Your profile".."View/Update Profile"..and then..

Click on the lil link asking you if you want to download your own personal avatar..Its on the left hand side of the screen under the links for chosing your avatar..and then..

It open up another window and you have to browse your computer for the picture..find the file and click update..and then..

Once youve downloaded your personal avatar to HB..you will then see a bold link under where you have the avatar link (on the left hand side of screen)..It should say something like..You now have a custom avatar..something like that..and then..

You click on the drop down box and select "CUSTOM"..and then you go to the bottom of the screen and click on the UPDATE PROFILE buttom..and then..

Hopefully you should have your own custon personal avatar.. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

ohh...still looks very pretty though..I like it..

Team Hosboard are looking into avatars and about the sizes of them..

Its another thing they need to adjust..
