so, a few days ago, I did a BIN on a Micro fig. I've bought from this seller before (he's in Japan). he ships fast and cheap, which is nice. he's more or less my sourse for Micros that can't be found in N.America.
as I'm looking through his other auctions, I come across a GREAT deal on a set of four, which I really want. trouble is, after shipping, it's several dollars more than I can afford. since he had previously said he'd combine shipping (my other fig hadn't shipped yet), I emailed him on the off chance he'd knock the shipping down a bunch.
and I mean a BUNCH.
before I heard back from him, I stumbled on some other figs I've wanted for a while, at a good price.

wait till the morning, I tell myself.
well, got a response today, and he said he'd be happy to lower the shipping for me. by around $8 US. [img]eek.gif[/img]

the Laser set is the one he gave me a deal on. they usually run around $18/fig. I got the set of 4 for $26!! the Acroyear was a bit more pricey, but still a good deal.
the Magne 5-pk is from another seller, and was a steal, at under $10!!

I have that Magne set... it's very cool.
I actually took some of them apart and used the lower legs (with the magnetic feet) for some of the new micromen.
My Gatchaman figure (Mark?) now has magnetic feet and is stuck to the side of the Andy-Monkey. [img]smile.gif[/img]

The wait always sucks, and if you are impatient, buying from Japan will kill you.

actually, last time I ordered from this guy, it took maybe 7 days.
I've had stuff from the US take longer...
of course, now that I've opened my big mouth, it's gonna take months... [img]wink.gif[/img]
