How much is too much to drink?

I only ask as I'm a long time abuser of alcohol. My friends and loved ones have always been amazed at the amount of booze I could consume. I stopped drinking over a year ago. Tonight, I decided to drink. Don't know why, it just seemed like a good idea. Started around 4pm, it's now 7:30 and I have already finished off a bottle (750ml) of schnapps. Am I drunk? Legally, yes, no doubt about it. If you saw me in public, would you think I was drunk? No.

So my question to you all is, Am I an alcoholic or as I jokingly said for years, just a trained professional?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's what I told people all those years when I was drinking daily. Only problem is I haven't had a drink for over 1 year. I think the tolerance aspect is thrown out the window after this much time.

Proof is only 60%, not much.

Yea, it's just a high ass tolerance. Having a high tolerance for alcohol sucks, I wish I was still light weight.

If you do it again tomorrow, it might not have seemed like a good idea to have done it tonight.

That's one reason I quit going to bars to do my drinking. Besides the amount of money it cost [img]biggrin.gif[/img] . Before I stopped, I had one time I was out shooting pool with a friend of mine. The waitress came up to him and told him I was cut off. He asked why? She said because I had drank a full bottle [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] He said so? he's kicking everybody's ass in pool, he's not too drunk. I ended up having to prove to the bartender that I was not to drunk before I could buy more booze. basically all I had to do was talk the guy. He decided I was OK to continue drinking.

In case your wondering, I have not driven a car after drinking since 1986. I refuse to drink and drive. Doesn't matter if I'm sober or not, all that matters is what my blood says, so i don't fool with it.
