So, how was your weekend?

It's only Friday, but since few spend their personal time on the board, I'm looking ahead to Monday morning when all can report in.

Our plans for the weekend:
We're going somewhere for dinner tonight.

Unfortunately, I have to go shopping for shoes tomorrow. The NFL draft starts at noon, so I'll spend some time at the library while Trav watches that.

Sunday should be a snow day, so we won't get to play in the (ever increasing) daylilies. Jungle Jims in the morning and then Sunday evening at the Seder Dinner.

Granted, it's probably not as exciting as watching reason kill his grass or Lew playing trains, but that's life.

Looking forward to seeing who the Bears take.

Got a feeling that it'll be Cedric Benson, but I'll be fine if it's Ronnie Brown or Caddilac Williams or Mike Williams. (Braylon Edwards will be gone by pick 4)

Couple of final preps for the derby to check out (or at least see what happens) . Work. Not sure about sunday breakfast this week, have to wait and see what I'm in the mood for.

Other than that, it's all up in the air.

My weekend starting today (Friday)

1. Went for about an hour run near Bixby Bridge in Big Sur along the pacific coast. Gorgeous.

2. Played golf at Spyglass Hill in Pebble Beach. Beautiful.

3. Had dinner in Carmel by the sea (Clint Eastwoods hometown), and had Almond crusted sea bass, shrimp, Abilone, spring rolls, california rolls, and a very good Chardonnay. Follow that with a desert called Chocolate Decadence and a bottle of Port courtesy of the owner who sat and talked with us for about an hour.

Saturday: Spend day traveling from San Fran to cincinnati. Spend evening with my lovely wife.

Sunday: Swim, Bike, Run, Eat, Sleep, Repeat!

Fun huh?

Last night, we stayed home and watched a movie. Today, I have to go out and buy all new bedding for our new king size bed (we bought one of those sleep number beds, it's awesome!).

The rest of the weekend will be spent making preparations and shopping for next weekend when Nick makes his 1st Communion. The grandparents, my brother & sis-in-law, and my best friend (Nick's godmom) are all coming up. I have to order a cake, make luncheon reservations, etc. etc. I was pleasantly surprised that anyone would come up for this, so I'm going to make it worth their while. Especially if it's snowing!! Very good.

I spent Saturday morning teaching at Young Marines Boot Camp.

Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday are spent at work.

I'm also trying to figure out how to torture Jumper for playing golf at Spyglass Hill without me. Maybe I'll post the pics from the Reds game on Wednesday when I went with my dad & brothers.

Oh, did I mention that we were sitting in the Diamond Club seats. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]cool.gif[/img]

My weekend: uneventful.

Shareholders meeting Saturday morning. Saw the exhibit of American painters from the Museum of New Britain, and then quickly toured the Cincinnati Wing at the Art Museum (plan on going back and spending more time on the latter). It was a change of pace, so it was kind of refreshing. Worked out both Saturday and Sunday. Got a Starbucks gift card for my birthday, so I used that Sunday morning. Got my hair butchered at Great Clips. She was an enthusiastic hair cutter. Maybe she was excited because it was her birthday, too. Started the long process of cleaning my house, as people have already indicated the desire to see the upstairs after my tenant leaves. Couldn't afford to do much because I no longer get rent money, and I spent too much in Toronto.

Can't think of the name of it. It's where Cafe Cin Cin used to be on the first floor of hotel across the street from the Cincinnatian.

My weekend - I went with the Boy Scouts tent camping.

It was EXTREMELY cold and wet. My tent blew over and there were puddles of water in it. All our clothes were wet. The latrine had no doors so my son would check to make sure it was unoccupied and stand guard in front of it while I was inside (I was the only female present). By the time we got home we just wanted a hot bath and clean bed....

Regardless, it was the sort of campout of which memories are made. I had some of the guys thinking I was insane because I could find the bright side of everything. </font><ul type="square">[*]<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I looked like heck because I was muddy and my hair was pulled back?
