It's become an issue around these parts. In fact, if you go to http://www.wdnweb.com/articles/2005/...ews/news01.txt you can read an article about what has just been passed. Needless to say, a lot of people aren't thrilled about it.
I'd like to hear your takes and experiences with them.

Been doing it since the 70's here does'nt harm anyone

it's all fine and dandy if you want to repress one of the things kids do for a creative outlet. they will have enough time to be a cookie cutter robot in a suit when they grow up.

School uniforms? On a pretty Asian girl...nothing like it!
Otherwise, in real life...it has to be a situational thing...Sometimes I think I'm for them...sometimes I think I'm against them...
-
I'm for them. It turns out they're cheaper than dressing your kids 'in style' ($180 shoes, $70 pants etc) and stop a lot of peer-pressure nonsense. They can be creative & express their inner ______ at the mall!

Signs that I'm getting old...
I would've opposed any sort of thing when I was a teenager in school. Now I completely understand the benefits of having school uniforms.
I think all kids should have to wear uniforms. Even outside of school.

And those little collars that can give them electric shocks. With universal remotes.
-
Never had to wear them in school. My opinion is still undecided. I say it depends on the school and its concerns.

And let's be honest...the girls too...it depends on the girls...
