size of the AGT retired Husky dog?

does anyone have this and can recommend it? Is it worth looking for on ebay? Diana's elementary school's mascot is the Hillcrest Huskies!

We have this set, and it's one of Nicki's favorites. They were selling them the first year that I ever went to the warehouse sale in Oshkosh, and to keep Nicki pacified in line, I told her I would let her pick out one item. The dogsled and husky were what she picked. At the time, I tried to talk her out of it-I thought she just wanted it because the stuffed dog was cute, and the last thing we need in our house is more stuffed animals! She wouldn't budge, and I'm glad I listened to her. She has gotten more play value out of that set than any of her other AG items. She and her friends loved to load the sled up with beanie babies, and with her doll driving, mush them around the living room. They spent hours over the years playing with it. The sled is made of real wood and other than one broken piece that had to be glued, it still looks great.

The dog is about 8" long and about 5" high I would guess. The sled is quite large-maybe 18" by 8". These are just guesses, but it does take up space. In your case, since you have a doll room, that wouldn't really matter.

You can keep an eye on ebay for a good deal, but I will tell you that last year at the Madison sale, I did see a couple of the sleds. I'm sure they went quickly, and that doesn't mean there will be some this year, but there might be.

I just got the husky, and I'd say he's defintely worth shopping for! Although... you shouldn't have to pay a pretty penny for him. I paid UNDER original retail for him on eBay, and now Tatlo is the only AG dog I don't have!

He is much bigger than Tatlo (who lives at my mom's house). I can take some photos of him if you'd like. To give you an example, right now he is standing next to Molly, and her finger tips brush his back. He's really huge! (But well-proportioned!)

Yay! I just won the dog on ebay, but figured I need to pass on the sled and extras, those are out of my reach right now.

I like these guys. They are about Tatlo's size but shaped differently. If you set up a search on ebay for stuffed husky dog you might find even better ones -- I found a gorgeous one very inexpensively who is still in proportion but big enough to pull a sled all by himself! I also found some lying-down huskies, which makes a nice change.
