Anybody have Altec 5191-X plans for Altec 604-8K?
Can't imagine many hobbyists are looking to build 6 ft3 ceiling enclosures, i doubt any drawings exist unless somebody has actually laid hands on a factory box and drew it up.
Wally what are your exact plans for your build ? I have to agree with Bowtie on this one. Not the best way to utilize a pair or more of 604's IMHO....
I thought about 5191 with Altec and 18" subwoofer. But finally - Altec 620B������
620B alla Model 17's are a good choice ! Another good choice you might want to consider is the Stonehenge III ! Todd has plans for the Stonehenge III that has some slight modifications. He has more info on them, send him a PM if you are interested.
I thought 620B is rather Model 18... I like old wide cabinets more������

I feel it will be good decision :)
I really like the sound of the 604.. They sound amazing but I always felt like they needed some extra bass like the Urei 813 has.. But I found some plans of 620B and the Stonehenge on an audio site. The internal volume in cubic ft should be around 9cu.ft to 10.5 cu.ft for optimal performance. YMMV
