Thinking about going to Florida to start flight training. I’m from overseas and not sure what the first step even is. Do I need a visa first or do schools help with that? Also wondering if anyone knows which schools are used to working with non-US students, especially from scratch.

They also guide you through financial paperwork, insurance, even tell you what you’ll need to show at the embassy. The instructors are solid, fleet is well-maintained, and the Florida weather means you fly a lot. They’re celebrating 40 years now so they’ve got a deal running on tuition too. Good place to start.
