How do you convert FLA files? Not FLAC with a 'c'... FLA files. I've never seen it before. Or do they burn as is? Thanks guys. If you download the Robben Ford concert with Novak, these are the files that you get. HELP!

I've never seen FLA there or even heard of it. FLAC yes, all the time....
My bad, I posted those FLA files for the Robben Ford/Novak show. Fortunately it's a quick fix. For anyone else in this same boat:
When I used NERO to convert the wav files to FLAC, it converted them to "FLA" and did not include the "C" at the end. This is why your PC is not recognizing the files. All you have to do is rename the file to include the "C" at the end.
For example:
"Track_No01.fla" --> "Track_No01.flac"
If your PC isn't showing you the full file name (some will automatically hide the .fla/.flac extension), follow these simple instructions to see the full file name:
Open Windows Explorer
select TOOLS
select FOLDER OPTIONS (from the drop down list)
click the VIEW tab
scroll down a bit and UNCHECK the "Hide extensions for known file types"
Apply this change and you will see the "Track_No01.fla" just add a "C" to the end of each file name and your PC should recognize it as a regular FLAC file.
thanks...im gonna pick this one up now! I have never checked 'Vak
Actually, Selim. You don't even need to go through all of that, if you don't want to. Just like FLAC files, you don't need to decode them before burning. They burn anyway, I just found out. Regardless, great post, man, thank you.
