A Life Changing Moment

I just wanted 2 share a Glorious experience that I thought would never happen. I got to meet Bret Michaels. I have been a fan of Bret and Poison for 18 years (since I was 10 and am now 28) This man has not only talent in acting and singing but a big Heart also. I felt very honored. I have a signed pix besides a pix of me with Bret that my boyfriend was nice enough to take. This is not a love obsession but a love of growing up with someone whoes been with me through alot of things growing up good and bad. After the pix I told him thank-you with a hug and a kiss on the cheeck. Like I said a life changing moment. Something that is only experienced by that person and is hard to put into words.
Now I would like to hear every1s life changing moment if ya would like to share either here or by email. Thanx for taking the time to read this.

It was Spring Break week when I was in the 11th grade (1990). These girls I knew from Hollywood gave me Nikki Sixx's address along with his voicemail number (that was a big thing back then to have a voicemail number). I didn't believe them then my friend Tweedy (girl) told me that yes he did live in Hidden Hills. She told me it was a gated community but that her family was on the "pass" list because one of her dad's clients lived there.

So she calls Nikki Sixx's voicemail giving him some line about wanting to meet him or something of that sort. And little did I know that she was fully in love with Nikki Sixx too in other words she had her own agenda. So I'm staying at her house in Calabasa for Spring Break and her parents tell us to get in the car. They have a video camera and they say "we're going to take you girls to meet that one rock guy", and I'm like [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] . I didn't think we'd get away with it. So we got past security and drove to the street.

I get to the house and it looks smaller than what I'd expect it to be LOL. He had an intercom system and Tweedy presses it, and Nikki answered "ya". OMG I still remember the sinking heart feeling when he answered. It scared me and all I could think was "just a little bit more work and we can meet him". So she says "Hey Nikki its me Tweedy", and I think at this time he's like "fuckit they're already here might as well let them in", so he buzzes us in. We walk to the front door, and I remember looking through the windows and all I could see was a hallway with all these albums on the wall you know platinum, gold, etc -

and then he opened the door - and his damn dog tried to bite me ROFLMFAO hehe. Nikki all of a sudden started yelling "Snake... Brandy... someone call the dog". We were just standing there in the doorway. And low and behold Snake Sabo came to the door to get the dog. Nikki was then like "hi girls how are you", and I answer "fine sir how are you". LMFAO I was so in shock I didn't know what to do. All the meanwhile my friend Tweedy was really keeping her composure. I was just speechless.

Nikki said "wait right here", and he came back a few minutes later with a couple of 8 x 10 glossies which he autographed right then and there. I remember he spelled my name wrong LOL and I say "uh you spelled my name wrong" and then he looks up at me and says "it doesn't really matter does it" and I say again "no sir" hehe. He told us to have a good day and that was it - we got into the car drove a few blocks away and then Tweedy and I both screamed like bloody murder.

I think my first words after screaming were "I have met my god I can now kill myself and die in peace" LOL -

I was 16 when I finally met him and had been in love with him since I was about 10 and I'm still in love with him to this day at 31 hehe. I don't know what ever happened to my pic though but I still have my memory which is cooler than any pic in my book.

so that's my story of meeting a god - and then there's the story of the instore when I met Yngwie but I like relishing in my Nikki Sixx story instead -

Thanx baby Lemonade and Kandi. As for Ragz mayhap its a girl thing. Yep the sinking heart thing...as I walked away after meeting Bret I almost collasped from the shock of it my boyfriend caught me and made me sit down. I couldnt stop crying and shaking....

HEHE...yeah you're right glamgirl....it probably is a girl thing...I know my girlfriend gets like that as well.

When I met Stiv Bators it was a life-changing experience, but mainly due to his literally saving my ass from taking a severe beating!

Mike monroe once asked if he knew me from somwhere, at the bar of the lyseum ballroom.

Now I don't know about life changing cuz I'm met and hung out with lots of musicians...but one that I happen to think was cool, was hanging out after the Poison, Skid Row, Vince Neil, Winger, Cinderella show...talking with Fred Coury and Jeff LeBar. Anyways, we are there hanging out and Jeff and his girl invite Me and my girlfriend to go to a guitar center...so we went along. I got to watch him buy 3 or 4 guitars just like it was nothing. I was gonna say...BUY ME ONE TOO DAMMIT!!!....hahaha!!!
