Who's all going to the Nov. 19th show in Anaheim? I Can't wait!......
im going
Cool, I havent been to a social d concert since their self titled albulm. It's long overdue.
I'm going on the 27th, you guys are lucky Lee Rocker is opening that day! Doe's anyone have any extra tickets for the 19th show, I can pay or trade tickets for the 27th show...
i will be there!
they always have the coolest setlist when the do these extended hob shows in la and oc. (last time they played mommy's little monster all the way through) so what do you think they are going to pull out this time around? What songs do you think we will hear? Will they play a different album all the way through? I would love to hear somewhere between heaven and hell all the way through or even just some of the cool stuff off of prison bound that they never play like indulgence, it's the law, backstreet girl, and like an outlaw. haha but at the same time it would be just as cool to hear some of the great stuff that they never play off of wlwhwt. just some thoughts
Hotrodder - You cannot go wrong with that setlist!
i'm lookin for tickets. when they were released, i didn't have enough to buy one, but now i'm ok. does anyone have 1 extra??? i would love to go!
as far as predictions for what they'll be playing, its tough to say. right now, i'd say tradional 2004 setlist, but its all up in the air.
rough draft prediction:
Road Zombie
Reach For The Sky
Highway 101
Under My Thumb, piano intro
Sick Boy
99 To Life or King of Fools
Mommy's Little Monster
1945
Something different--Solo album or new track/ previously unreleased.
Bluesy song
When The Angels Sing
Don't Take Me For Granted
Ring of Fire
Story of My Life
maybe dont drag me down will be in there. they'll probably play 16-18 songs though, and it'll def be worth it!
Hopefully they change it and that its not just another "live in OC DVD" setlist with far behind added in....
For the people at the hoot this year the setlist was VERY nice, I was lucky enough to see them play a cover of chuck berrys "maybelline" I doubt they'll pull that one out again any time soon. For any sxdx fan you need to go to the hoot next year, you'll love it I promise, the only thing is that the tickets are $60 instead of $30 at HOB... All though Irvine ranch might have burned up do to the fires, Oh well....
Social Distortion's setlist have never bothered me at all. I've never ever complained about it and I have been to over 50 shows. I have been lucky enough to see them play over the years with many different members and was able to hear many obscure songs that they don't play too often. I remember seeing them play at Oak Canyon ranch (not the Hootenany) with Robert Gordon and they played a lot of songs from WLWHWT.
