double silver eyed asian, what do I do

Well my little Miatta arrived today, and I almost knocked over the UPS guy while grabbing the box out of his hands, only to find she has complete silver-eye in BOTH eyes!!! Obviously I was shocked, since that's not at all how she appeared to me in fotos, but looking at her it's kind of cool... so what do you all think I should do? She is Definately PM, so if I send her back, I get the new mold and arms, and basiclly a new doll, or do I keep her this way and trade her in at a later date??

Aww, she is still really pretty.I hope they can replace just her eyes... if not, I would be tempted to try it myself if I were you.

May I ask, How can you tell if an Asian doll is PM? Is there really a different mold for the new ones?

My Aimee does not have the.. sqiushed? look the one on the website does, but she does have a body tag.I bought her preloved.Any idea how I can tell about her age?

Usually it's the way Pleasant company is written, if it's bigger and 'casual' rather than typed, and the fact that this one has silver-eye, she's obviously older. I have another one arriving this week, so I'm going to compare them. Ahhhhh always a reason to adopt another doll! lol

Wow! Her eyes are very pretty, IMO. She is a very beautiful doll, and I wouldn't send her to the AG hospital. If I were you, I woould probably just keep her eyes the way they are [img]smile.gif[/img] . I think they're nice that way. Hehe [img]wink.gif[/img] . I have an Asian AGT that I got back in February of 2003. She has "Pleasant Company" written on the back of her neck, but it looks "casual", like you said before. Her skintone is rather gray, though. Could she possibly be PM? Thanks!

Unless the eyes look really freaky in real life, I would keep them like that. I think they look cool and it definetly makes the doll look unique.

I have also heard of people covering the eyes with contacts- but that would probably be a bit expensive.

I wouldn't send her in, she is a gorgeous and unique doll! Hey, maybe they'll be worth $$$ in the future.

I think the double silver eyes give her a sort of supernatural look - like something you'd see in a sci-fi movie! You could make up a really interesting story for her, I bet!

I have two AGT4s: Kiana(PM) and Miaoshi(M). They are quite different! The vinyl is completely different in color and feeling, and their face paint is also very different: Miaoshi has the more "colorful" Mattel coloring, while Kiana is very subdued.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Actually, I was thinking of the LOTR elves when I wrote that - which is strange, since they don't have silver eyes *shrugs.* But now that you mention it, the eyes do bear a striking resemblance to Geordi's, as well!
