Did Samantha ever have gold ice skates?
Her ice skates were the black ones that hook to the bottom of the shoes, right?
Where would gold skates have come from?

Kirsten's LE Ice Skateing Outfit had gold skates. They had a wooden piece to stand on. Is that what you have?
I actually don't know what they are yet. It is an ebay auction and the skates pictured are bright gold.
They're for the Tonya Harding doll

"GOLD ICE SKATES AND AUTHENTIC MINIATURE BASEBALL BAT"
I know, cheap shot, but someone had to do it...
I've also seen non-AG gold skates. Do the skates say american girl on them?
The poster actually doesn't say anything about tags on them at all, and they don't even appear to have blades.
I've decided not to bid, but if you are really curious they are in an auction for Samantha's winter outfit.
