I found this site through a magazine I subscribe to. It contains free printable toys, some of which look old-fashioned. I thought quite a few of the toys would be adorable for American Girl dolls--such as the toy store, mini Valentines, theater, and treat bag. There are also PDF downloads under the holiday and otter headers, not only the "free toys" header in the center.
The website creator says her goal is to "help grownups and kids spend time together making things." Even if they don't work for your AG dolls, your kids might enjoy them anyway, and there are fun ideas on the site aside from the free toy downloads.

Thanks for that link, Melissa! I love it! There are some really fun printable projects to make. I especially like the printable little birthday cake with cake decorations you can cut out and glue on. It looks like it might be a fine size for AG dolls too. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
