I am awaiting an order from AG (that is likely to go into the closet until Christmas) and am wondering what I will be getting.
I ordered the Lawn Party Outfit, the Midsummer Outfit, and Molly's Bathing Suit (and a few other things).
Each of these outfits come with accessories, and the prices are still not that high.
What do you think about the outfit/accessory bundle. Would you rather the outfit without the extras for a little less (probably about $2/4 based on general prices of the outfits). Do you think these extras really add to the value you are getting?
Are they as well made as the actual accessories? Are the dresses cheaper to allow for the cost of the accessories?
Without ever having seen them, I love the idea. I don't collect accessories (yet) because I collect for all the historical dolls. (I had to focus somewhere, my focus is clothes) And this is a way I can get accessories to.
What are your thoughts?

I have Samantha's Lawn Party Outfit and I would definitely recommend getting the matching shoes to go along with it. The dress is a very beautiful pale yellow, and wouldn't really look right with her other, black and white shoes. As for the dress's accessories themselves, the mallet and ball are made of wood, not plastic, and are a lot of fun to play with! The wicket has plastic flowers and a metal arch. The whole set is really very fun.
I don't have Molly's adirondack chair, so I can say anything from first hand experience, but I think it looks so cool! And at $20, I think I would have to splurge if I were in your shoes! It's practical, too. When you're not playing with Molly, she can have a nice place to sit.

I am definetly thinking of the adorondack chair. It is just so cute. I don't have any furniture yet, but it is so inexpensive. I will look into those shoes on my next purchase.
The "extra" for Molly's bathing suit is a beach ball.

For me, it depends on the accessory itself.
Accessories aren't really something I collect, except the outfit accessories- shoes, hair ties, meet accessories, etc. Simply for outfit enhancement, lol.
I don't care for the croquet (sp?) set that comes with Samantha's Lawn Party Outfit, simply because a) it's quite large and hard to store, and b) really not much display value.
I think, other than that, they're all really cute. They've done a really great job with the bathing suits- they all have cute little accessories.
I think it would be nice if they had 2 sets available, one with the accesories and one without, even if it was just a few dollars less, sort of how you could get the short story outfits with or without the books.
It's great that they're trying to put on little additions to outfits, to make the (now higher) price seem more worth it.
I hope you're happy with the ones you're getting Let us know what you think of them.

I love it when the outfits come with accessories because I play with my girls and if I don't always have to buy the outfit and the accessories it saves money. Which, of course, still gets to the company one way or another, lol!

For me, it really depends on the accessories. If the accessories are unique and high-quality, then I like being able to get a little more play/display value out of the set. However, I wasn't a fan of the valentines that came with Samantha's Valentine Party dress. The accessories that came with Nellie's valentine dress (albeit more "outfit enhancement" than playthings) seemed like a much better value.
As a compromise, they could offer the accessories separately, but have a bundled set at a slight discount to encourage people to buy both (kind of like Molly's travel set).
