Doll Bangs

I've seen a number of people on here express different opinions on bangs.

How do you feel about the AG bangs?

I have bangs myself, (but won't be offended when people say they hate them), similar to Nellie's. I really like Nellie's bangs because they're not as thick as the other AG's with bangs, they're a thin, short layer. The thick bangs, that are on Samantha, Kirsten, Molly, and almost all of the AGTs up until recently, are a bit much for me. I'd love to see some more dolls come out with bangs like Nellie's.

Bangs are pretty popular again right now. Especially the thin, light, to the side kind. I think when I have kids, my daughters will all have bangs until they express a disliking in it, there's something childlike and innocent about bangs that I love.

I'm sure we'd all like to see more dolls without bangs. But is that a personal preference, or just because there's so many right now WITH bangs, and not a lot of choices of dolls without any?

I like dolls with and without bangs and people with and without!!!!!!

I love dolls with bangs! Why? Because I have bangs. I have had bangs all my life. As a young girl I had bangs like Samantha's, now my bangs are just like Nellie's Dolls with bangs are just a personal prefernce because that is the preference of hairstyle I have always worm. I know that had I never had bangs dolls with bangs wouldn't hold the same meaning.

I have VERY curly hair so bangs are a HUGE amount of work (gel, flat iron, etc) so I while I have had them before, I hate them. They remind me of massive amounts of time spent trying to fix my hair and never getting it to work.

Dolls aren't people so taking that into consideration I just don't liek them because they obscure the eyes. I like to see my dolls eyes. I don't mind the kind Lindsey has as much because they are swept away to the side and don't hide the face as much.

Out of some 50 odd 18" dolls in my collection, only two of them have no bangs. I definitely prefer dolls with bangs. No question, bangs look much better...

I've had bangs, and not had them; but I love the dolls with bangs because I think they look soooooo CUTE!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I'm glad there are more choices now for all tastes, but the dolls with bangs will always be my favorites (except for Felicity, who is in a class by herself!). [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I like variety - that's why I'd like to see more dolls without bangs. The historical line has such a nice variety of hairdos; I'd like to see more choices in the AGT line too. It's nothing against bangs themselves. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I like a variety too. Even with most of the faces being alike, the different hair styles really makes them look quite different.
