Should I fire my lawyer?

So I retained a partner at a law firm back in February, waffled a lot on moving forward with the divorce but decided last month I was ready to move forward. The lawyer I retained was out of the country for a couple weeks and suggested I meet with a junior attorney at the firm. I wasn’t too impressed at the consult but figured the partner attorney would be overseeing his work and wanted to move forward quickly. Fast forward to $2000 and 3.5 weeks later and my H was just finally sent a waiver of service. $2000 for a 2 hour consult and some emails back and forth. I just feel like things are moving slow and it’s not super clear the next steps and timeline. And I’m having to nudge him about everything. I feel like we’re only 10% into the process and can’t believe how much it has cost already. They estimated about $7500 total at the initial consult although of course it’s hard to estimate. I feel like we’re on track for a $10k+ divorce when we are agreeing on most everything. Anyway, does this seem unreasonable to anyone else? I have never worked with or even spoken to an attorney prior to divorce so I don’t know what’s typical. How would I even switch lawyers at this point in the process? I don’t want to have to go back to square one (although we haven’t gotten far).

In my area, if everything was agreed upon it was going to run 4 to 5 k. That was 10 years ago about. I don't think I ended up paying more then that. And it was custody and parenting agreement.
