I was talking to my aunt last week and heard my uncle playing accordian in the background, I didnt think he would bust it out. They also had a new song I think it was called you can't take it with you.
the rest of the set was all normal full band stuff but they did play a lot of stuff that they never play. here are the songs in no particular order, maybe someone with a really good memory could post the exact order. tell me if i'm missing anything.
king of fools
brand new song( i think it was called "cant take it with you when you go" very bluesy song w/ a sing along chorus. really cool)
bye bye baby
this time darlin'( my favorite all time, never heard it live before)
making believe
reach for the sky
highway 101
winners and losers (also never heard it live. sounded good)
sick boy
mlm
far behind
Encore:
prison bound
story of my life
very very cool set, good to hear some fresh songs. although I think the setlist could have been organized a little bit better to give it more energy. it was kind of akward the way it flowed.
The intro was cool and unique but it was very akward. they just kind of came out of nowhere with no intro song or anything and danny and johnny started playing and then mike came in. It was cool but i think i would have put those two songs in the middle or in the encore w/ prison bound and story of my life and opened with something that is very energetic. but either way it was the most unique social distortion show ive ever seen and i would highly recomend it to anyone.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">i agree. i think that in a few weeks, they'll have it fine-tuned and will start to work out the kinks. it seemed to lack a flow, but you hit the nail right on the head when you say "unique." i think this was the best Social Distortion show i've ever seen.Quote:
