Hey Dude seems like your the man to ask this question to:- Just Bought a Matrox RTMac Card and breakout box from ebay, the guy said it was compatible with Final Cut Express, ( that i also bought off abay) thing is, its not.
Not really up to speed with Vid editing, i wanted to get some old muso stuff on to my computer and ultimately onto D.V.D. You said you have F.C-Pro, is that so? wanna get rid, or at least ragg me a copy of yours? will love you long time 5 dollar!!!!

If the card's not compatible, try going to
card's website and looking for new drivers -
there may be an OS X one you need to download.
Possibly.
As for FCP, I've just got access to it, mate.
I don't own either it nor a G5, I'm afraid.

Actually, it's a new 3.4Ghz, 64bit Athlon jobbie,
with a few gigs of ram. With Windows running the
show, though, it's still a pain in the arse.
