I don't like her stage either, but I think you should get. If you don't like it, save it and sell it on ebay after Marisol retires. I'm sure you can make some extra money on it.

That was my logic.
I saved and saved for Marisol's world-so I got everything...but the things that I don't like I can always resell after. Although the only thing I haven't opened yet is the Spotlight Stage.

From the outfits I need the Tap, but do not know if I am going to buy it. I also do not have the stage, but I do I do not want that one.
I have everything for marisol and my least favorite is the spotlight stage. If you wait like a year or two after Marisol is gone then you can get a lot of money for it.
The thing that really gets me about that stage is that they seemed to have anticipated that a lot of people wouldn't care for it, so they bundled the tiara with it. I don't have the new tutu and stage yet; I want the tutu, but I want the tiara to go with it. I don't like the stage, but I may end up getting it anyway - which, of course, seems to be exactly what they had in mind...

DD wants the stage for Christmas and the outfit for her birthday in Feb. That makes Christmas easy. I will probably buy the whole world too. Then sell Marisol after she is retired! That way I can have money for all the birthdays that are coming AFTER Christmas!
DD doesn't have the stage either and really doesn't want it. She does want the outfit though. I thought we could just use the tiara from the birthday outfit. They look similar. I hope we don't regret not getting the stage.
If my mom and I had the money, we would go and buy Marisol's Whole World, and then resell it on Ebay. You could easily make a profit of $100-$200, depending on how long you wait to sell the set. For the Spotlight Stage, I have heard some people on the board call it a "glorified doll stand". It does look basically like a glitzy doll stand with little lights that spins. Still, since you want Marisol's whole set, then go for it, and if you don't like it, wait until she retires and then sell it on Ebay. There are still going to be people wanting to collect her whole set then, and you could probably get $40 for it.
I feel so proud of myself. Since I didn't get anything for Kailey besides the doll I felt that the next LE doll AG made would be a doll that I would want to get everything for. I was right! I felt bad that Kailey got left out of the excitement of getting her outfits and I am so happy that that won't happen with Marisol. I'm down to the last thing to get for Marisol- her Spotlight Stage & Tiara. I'm still not sure if I should get it. If I don't like it I can always return it though, so that's good if it turns out to be less than my expectations.
