What a depressing weekend of football results. The Seniors were outplayed by a better Marys side. Clearly the sooner the guys get back from injury the better (JOhn Corcoran now out fro a while too). The full back line were a complete disaster and the way in which we continue to leak easy scores is extremely worrying as division 2 looks closer and closer.
To make it even worse the result on SUnday in the Junior A game may be even more important. It was clearly evident here from an outsiders point of view that the team threw the game away. The management must also take some responsibility for this defeat as the way in which they responded to events on the pitch was slow or even non existent. Players playing out of postion and players remaining on the pitch who clearly weren't up to it. Even with a few "additional new recruits" for the game, the team still got rocked by soft goals. I think the club must look at sending some of these guys on management courses, as all they seemed to want to do was argue with the ref who was doing a good job.
