Slash is in da house! (now with pics!)

My Deluxe Slash box set was waiting for me when I got home! The detail is incredible! My camera battery died so I'll get pics a little later.

At second glance I noticed a white scratch mark at the top of one of the amps. Man, I was pissed! [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img] Upon closer inspection it looked like an errant blob of paint with little color specks sticking out of it. Still not happy! [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img] Then I finally recognized it for what it was.... [img]redface.gif[/img] ....it was sculpted masking tape holding down Slash's extra picks! Did I mention how incredibly detailed this thing is? [img]wink.gif[/img]

I saw complaints about the his guitar being too big. Weird thing is...in person the proportions seem right. In photos, it looks too big. I think it's because he's leaning back and that throws the perspective off in pics.

Word of warning concerning the amps. They all peg into each other nice and tight using their "casters" as pegs. There are no loose pegs. However, the right stack of amps did not completely line up with the holes in the stage. One peg was always totally off the mark. I just dremmeled down the back two pegs and it stands just fine with only the front pegs.

Awesome!

Hopefully mine will be here next week.
