New Richard Bona Album

I LOVE RICHARD BONA! The first time I saw him, Steve Hass was playing drums in the band. Now, Ernest Simpson has the gig. Another great NYC player. I'm buying this one for sure. It was great to hear the younger guys play Vinnie's drum parts from the older CDs.

Wow... did Simpson or Hass play on any of Bona's albums or just live? He's worked with a lot of great drummers... I look forward to this new one w/ Vinnie!!!

Saw him when he was up and coming...playing with Pat Metheny Group...really excellent...he played Bass on Bright Size Life with just Pat and Antonio with the house lights on...they huddled together right next to the drums and friggin jammed.....just killing

I know that Hass and Simpson are not on Bona's albums. It's mainly Vinnie, and Ari Hoenig on a track or two I believe.
Bona's other drummers in the past include Hass, Hoenig, Carlock, Townsley, and Simpson.
