Last night, my partner took me to the Overture Center for the Madison Ballet Company's production of the Nutcracker. For those of you who aren't as familiar with Madison, Pleasant Rowland's husband, Jim, donated the bulk of the money for the building. The theatre is gorgeous!
Anyway, as we opened our programs, we saw this page!

The American Girl Fund is one of the beneficiaries of the MCM sale. In addition to the fund, the Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation was also a major sponsor. So to all you big shoppers out there- thanks for helping put on our local Nutcracker!
One thing that was unique was the replacement of the Chinese dance with a Thai dance- complete with the gorgeous gold pointed headpieces. We had a great time!

That is awesome and it sounds like it was fun! Did you guys take any other pics? The costumes must have been amazing.

I love AG sightings of any type. I think the Thai dancers sound wonderful. I'm sure the two of you had a great time. It's a festive start to the holiday season.
