I just have to share this little story.
A few months ago, I gave a little girl at my Church a brand new Bitty, and also her new B-day dress. This little girl has very little, and she was thrilled. She named her Rose.
Anyway...this little girl is only five years old. She talks to me every Sunday morning, and tells me about "Rose", and what she has been up to.
Today I asked her if she changes her clothes a lot. She said, " No. I am waiting to change her into the birthday outfit. I'm saving it for when she has her first birthday."
So..this five year old girl plays with her doll everyday, but will not change her into her one and only other outift...until the doll has it's first birthday.
I was really touched by that.....I have so much, and don't appreciate it nearly as much a five year old child appreciates her few things.

That is really a cute story. We gave DD's friend's little sister a Bitty for her birthday. She names her "Cuteness". Little girls make such great mommies.

Precious story! I loved it. Very young children are so innocent and pure.

How darling!
Our neighbor's 3 year old has a Bitty named Bobby Hill!! Even though he's a boy, he still wears dresses.
I'm giving her my Asian Bitty, Olive, for Christmas. She named her as well. I asked her to name my Bitty when she was eating a big plate of black olives.

Awww...such cute stories!
I've been looking at the AG site and ebay on and off this afternoon, for more clothes for this little girl's Bitty. But I almost think she's better off the way she is!
