How many of you are waiting to order Jess?

If so, whats your reasoning? Lack of money? Too many dolls? Afraid of flaws? etc

I am waiting for some members here to receive their dolls and check their feedback on whether or not she is what they expected. I wish she had more of an Asian look.

I am waiting because I only get 1 doll a year. I got Marisol this year.

My birthday is in January, and my husband knows I want her, but it would be okay if we waited until Christmas too.

I need time to enjoy the doll I just got.


(Although I LOVE everything about Jess and want her now, I am trying to be a sensible adult, who realizes that I can't have EVERYTHING I want)

I'm waiting because I may go to Chicago this spring. If so, I would want to go pick one out myself.

I went back to school a few years ago to finish my degree, so I now exist on Financial Aid money. I don't get next term's $$ until school starts on the 9th. I am also wanting to see what Jess looks like from board member photos. I couldn't decide what doll to buy last year when I had finally decided that I wanted my first AG. It wasn't until I saw some pics of Marisol on an eBay auction that acually showed her out of the box that I decided she would be the one. The dolls just look so different from AG's pictures. I didn't really care for #25 until I saw her in HB member albums, and now I think she's so cute!

I decided to wait last night, because I ordered an Addy doll w/paperback book collection, her accessories, and AG Brush for my older sister who lives in Michigan.

She is the DS who went with me to AGPC when I was at the family reunion in August. She fell in love with Addy and AG there. DH told her he would get it for her for Christmas. Well, he did not get her. He thought she was joking. (DS is 59 years old).

He got her something else for Christmas. When he realized that she was serious he told he would get her one after their tax refund.

To make a long story short; I bought an Addy package for her with my Jess budget last night and had it shipped to her home in Michigan.

I'm waiting to get her with my tax refund. We're all tapped out right now. I'm actually glad she doesn't look more Asian. I think she looks a lot like my little DD whose father is from Central America so we're buying Jess for her for those reasons.

I'm waiting because I need to enjoy my new dolls and the rest of the stuff I got for Christmas. Kirsten and Megan (Magic Attic Club) need to feel at home before I get Jess.
