I have a few questions about Jess and I'm really hoping some Jess owners can help..thanks!
Is her vinyl as soft as the older dolls? Or is it the hard, rough Mattel vinyl? It looks like they changed it in the catalog, because she looks really soft in it, but I just need to know.
And also, what really is her hair color? Is it more reddish/brown or more AGT#25 brown/black?

You know, I had not noticed the vinyl, but my Jess absolutely has softer vinyl than my Kit. If you squeeze Kit's leg, it feels like concrete, but Jess' has a little give to it.My Jess is a softer vinyl than my Kit, for sure.
I consider her hair to be a dark auburn. I do not think it could be mistaken for black. It seems a little darker than Lindsey's hair.
sorry about not getting back to this question in the other post... Ok arms and legs are harder than my pm's (though about the same as my pm agot which I got the first year they were released). Her arms and legs are softer than my nellie's and eb's
Her hair is a dark brown (close to black) with a redish brown tint to it...
