Another question, I'm sorry.
Does anyone know exactley when the tan bodies were produced. I have a friend who purchased 2 AG dolls for her daughters in late 1990. The first was Kirsten, which was a tan body. The 2nd was Molly, which was a white body. She said that the white body was always irritating to her becasue it looked so stupid compared to the tan body, and would look bad seeing the edge under the clothes. The Molly dolls hair also arrived frizzy, which always bugged her. She doesn't have access to them any more because I helped her list them to sell.... back before I was interetested in AG. I could've had them if I'd wanted them. {{Kicks self again and again.}}
But anyway, does anybody know when exactly the tan bodies began production?
Thanks.

I believe the tan bodies began production right around the time Felicity was due to be released. So 1990/91 is about right. All the dolls I've seen from 86-88 have white bodies. I'm guessing the 89-90 was a transition time.

My Felicity (1992) has a peachy body and not a tan one. I have seen Mollys from the early 90s with both white and tan bodies. Lissie's peach body is my favorite. She's soft and squishy! My 1987 Kirsten has hair that is very straw-like and has always been like that. My sister's friend got Kirsten the following Christmas and her Kirsten's hair was less straw like than my Kirsten's so that could be the problem with your friend's Molly.

I'm not sure of my white-bodied Molly's exact age but she has very silky soft hair.

My Kirsten is from January 90 or Christmas of 90 (not exactly sure which) and she has the light peach/tan body.
I always feel like I was cheated out of a white body, because I got her signifigantly before Felicity was released (but probably while Felicity was being produced)
