Somebody is selling a lot of AG clothes right now that includes Felicity's Town Fair Outfit minus the windmill. I don't think the seller realized the gold mine they were sitting on with that dress alone. I figured it could be a bit of a steal for that outfit (meaning maybe actuall under $100) since I could always sell the other outfits separately (and hold back the ones for dolls I know I want someday like Samantha).
The only thing that holds me back is the start of my semester at the end of the month and deep down I know I should really save the money back for when I can't work as many hours.
*le sigh*

I'm watching that one too. It might be a good deal, but I kind of doubt it. Every time I've seen the Town Fair outfit, no matter how obscure the auction is, it goes through the roof at the last second due to a shower of sniping.
We'll see... I'd love to have the real Town Fair outfit but I have a replica I like pretty well so I'm not desperate enough to pay $100 for a doll dress. Although it's wierd because I occasionally spend nearly that much on custom seamstress dresses for them. Not very often mind you, but once in a great while as an indulgence.
For some reason a mass-produced outfit just isn't worth that price to me, no matter how cute I think it is- and I do think it is one of the cutest Felicity outfits ever made.

Not to be an enabler, but it really is a beautiful outfit. It's one of my favorite of Felicity's. We tried it on my mom's Addy last night and it looks fabulous on her as well. Of course, I got back in '97 so I didn't have to deal with ebay for it, but I can tell you Felicity wore it so much when I was younger that it's almost faded in some parts. ETA I haven't seen the auction.
