I am a horrible AG mommy! I realized today that I have no idea what I named my Bitty Baby. I've had her for 10 years and I know she used to have a name....but we always called her bittier, or bitty...so I guess the name didn't stick. She is very loved. Please don't turn me in to Dolly Protective Services!
We have named every single doll except Bitty, too. We just call her Bitty. I guess the logical explanation is that her real name must be Elizabeth. Wouldn't Bitty be sort of a nick name for Elizabeth kind of like Betsy or Bitsy?
At least you didn't name her Apple or Moon Unit or some of the other celebrity names we were posting about earlier today.

Just think of a name fast and you will be ok. I think being a loved doll is way more important then a named doll.

I didn't name Aggie (AGoT #5) for 8 years! I never called her anything... sometimes I refered to her as Jessi (my name) but never named her.
Oh goodness, at least Bitty has a nickname (bitty) even if you aren't sure her real name.
It's ok. When I got my first Bitty Baby (Sara) I didn't know what to name her and I ended up calling her "Bitty" for atleast two years.

We call our Bitty "bitty" also. I think it's because my DD likes to have the names already pickd out for her. That way they already have personalities. We love our Bitty, but her name is 'bitty". Not too original
