I personally don't care for FreeWebs. They are extremely slow-loading on my computer, and end up screwing up my internet connection. I use Yahoo GeoCities Free. It's free (as the name implies), and you can do more than with FreeWebs. GeoCities has PageBuilder and PageWizards. I use PageBuilder, but PageWizards is much easier. It is extremely step-by-step, and very new user-friendly . All you have to do is go to this site and click "Sign Up" under GeoCities Free. It won't ask for any credit card info, just the basic registration info. You even get a free email address (if you want one)!
My DH runs a webhosting company-- http://www.churchquest.com . Right now he's helping me start a doll site called http://www.talkdolls.com . He said that we could host some other doll sites for free. Let me know if you're interested. I'm sure he would be happy to get you started as well.
I designed my websites with tripod, at www.tripod.com . I found it very easy to use and i'm learning more and more about making websites through simply updating it.
You could check it out! Good luck!

I've signed up for a bunch of free websites trying to find the right one, and I find freewebs the best. It works great on Windows XP and it's really easy, but it doesn't totally wok on my Apple laptop. I think I'm heading toward getting a paid Mac website, since I KNOW that'll work on my laptop.
My website is Hard Times News if you want to look at it.
I checked out everyone's websites and they are all really great! I hope you all have posted them on the sticky at the top of the page.

I stumbled upon lissaexplains.com which has some great codes for making websites and info on making them. it says its for kids, but it's not. I'm 20 and I still go there to get codes.
ZSRMom, I love the dolls in the radio-flyer wagon! I always wanted a radio-flyer when I was younger. Perhaps with my AG collection growing, I should get one someday.
Actually, I have an earthlink email address so I get free webspace from trellix.com
