Well today i was wearing my longsleeve Social D shirt for it was cold and rainy day, and this "greaser chick" sees me wearing it and shes goes "I just love Social D, but Nekromantix is better" At this point, i was like "wtf?"....if it wasnt for Social D, Nekromantix wouldnt be around at all!"...then shes goes arguing with me about how Nekromantix was before Social D and that Mike Ness didnt get started till the late eighties and blah, blah, blah. In my opinion, there is no band that has as much heart, soul, and passion in their lyrics compared to Social D!...You can not compare any of these neo-greasers/pyschos music and lyrics to Social Distortion's catalog for they helped built that very "sub-culture"....any opinions on the matter?

i think to argue about something like that is just plain retarded. To be honest, I cannot name one Nekromantix song so they obviously arent one of my favorite bands, but to somebody who really likes them, it would be a different story.

Ah...apples oranges...different trees. I love both apples and oranges. Fuck it apples are better...hands down so Social D wins again.

You simply cannot compare Social D. to anyone else... They schooled everyone and still do. Not even The Rolling Stones in their "heyday" or The Clash...

Yeah, Social D. schools The Stones! Listen to the Stones songs that they cover.... Social D. give them more life. Social D.'s musically chemistry today is no match for anyone else!

While the Clash and the Stones may be reaching for it, we can all say without a doubt that Social D is better than Necromantix. Have you guys heard that shit? It's horrible....vocally, musically, lyrically...crap.
