HI,
Just curious if anyone has pics or reviews of the AGPC Jitterbug outfit. Dh may be headed to Ill. again at the end of the month. I want to be prepared w/ a list just in case he gets anywhere near AGP again. [img]wink.gif[/img]

There are usually good pics on ebay. Also, look on Curt or Meg's site for pics.
You can call AGP to have the ship to you directly, as well . . . you can even have a PS get the order ready for your hubby to pick up at the front register, so he doesn't need to spend too much time in AGP.

I'm asking about the Jitterbug outfit that is available exclusively at AGPC. It has a blue pleated skirt, but is a jumper w/ attached blouse. Curt has a pic on his site, but it's small & I found a nice pic on Ebay, but it wasn't on a doll. I thought it would be cute for dh to get dd (if he ever get's the chance again) when he's in Ill. on business. DD has Kit & it would be perfect for her since the Jitterbug came out in 1934. In Kit's first book she even mentions being in dance class. How perfect, huh?
DD has a friend headed to NY for Easter break & we may ask her to pick up the Tap Revue outfit for us. DD's Bday is the 4th of July, so the RWB items always catch my eye. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I don't think they have the jitterbug one out in Chicago right now as they are now doing the Revue which has the tap outfit in it instead of Circle of Friends which has the jitterbug one. I was there just last weekend and did not see it.
Maybe they still have them there, just not out. You could ask.
We have the tap one - but the jitterbug one is cute and I wish I had it.

It would be a shame if they didn't have both still available (at one store or the other). Speaking of which...Do you think they will have a new show for the L.A. store? and in turn a new outfit?

We have it, it's in hiding, but I saw it just yesterday while diggging around. The dress is a soft satin, not like the stiff Miss Victory dress of Molly's. The tap shoes are most adorable with their real little taps. The crown is pretty much the same as the one that comes with the Miss Victory costume.
I can get it out and take pics this evening if you like.
Are we talking about the Tap outfit or the Jitterbug outfit (two different items)? I haven't seen the Tap outfit in person (sounds cute though!), but I have the Jitterbug one, it too is very soft satin and it is one of my Dgd's favorites. I love the headband that comes with it. I wish AG would make more different headbands available.
