how much of a cheapskate are you!!!!
for goodness sake, buy some cheap beer!
Iced tea. It's what they use in the soaps apparently.
hahaha im THE cheapskate....i'm a student without a budget.
Tesco's do value bitter and lager for about 9p and 11p per 500ml can respectively. considerebly cheaper than irn bru. If that's still too much you could always piss into a glass.
haha quality...cheers for the tip. I'm gonna feel like chav scum taking that stuff up to the checkout!
Depending on how often you have to reshoot a scene you might want to stick to non-alcoholic beer so that your actors don't get pissed and ruin your takes.
I've always used Ice-T. If you need a head on it and the actors won't actually be drinking the fake beer, dish soap like Palmolive works great. The head will stay just the right size -- even under the hot lights.
