I LOVE dying Eggs!!!!! It's like a Spring highlight!
This year the marbling egg set we got at Wal Mart was like total*****. And the sparkly one didn't work to well either. So I grabbed some of my puffy paints so they wouln't all be plain. I am so spoiled what I can say... [img]smile.gif[/img] They turned out really well. They going to be 'hidden' so the gang can go search for them....
Did anyone else dye eggs this year??

I will be dying eggs tommorow. The girls will be invited to help, too. Maybe I will take some pictures. I think it is fun to dye eggs, too.

We did them today. The kids had alot of fun! My nephew was so cute. He put the 1st one in and when he took it out he said, "Wow! It turned orange now!" He's only 3 a didn't remember doing it last year.
I am a speech-language pathologist and today at our nursing home/rehabilitation center we dyed easter eggs with our patients. They had a great time with it, just like they were big kids! I love doing things like that with them, because it gets them reminiscing and puts them in a great mood!
I dyed eggs with my preschool class today. Some of the parents were SO excited-I teach the 2 and a half/3 year old class, and well...this was the first time that many of them dyed eggs. They were so proud and amazed. Most of their parents are waiting until tonight or tomorrow to do it with them, but I got the first experience!

My dad just came in from changing the oil in my moms car so that means we get to dye eggs now! yippee!! although it's only 10:04 PM LOL! [img]tongue.gif[/img]
My sister and Kamilla dyed Easter eggs yesterday, using our traditional methods of using onion peels, grasses, blossoms, logwood (dyes blue), sappan wood (dyes a purplish red) and pieces of eggshell (to keep white spots on the eggs.
