Here is the link. I promise I'll do something with the "Welcome" page...please excuse the lack of color and cheesy graphic. The profile links aren't done yet, but I just want anyone who can to please critique the site in general, so I can improve it before I do the profiles. Also, is the frame too big or small? My monitor is pretty wide, so things don't look their usual size. Is the general layout size OK?
Thanks,
Lindsey (who isn't done...I promise lol)
ETA: All comments are welcomed. Nothing is going to hurt my feelings; I love to recieve contructive criticism on my sites. I just ask that you dont panic because, as I am stressing, it's not done. So don't worry that the girl with the really bad HTML skills is doing the travel doll website.

I think it looks great! How are the profiles going to be set up?

I love that you did this! It looks much better than I can do! Thank you, but I just wanted to let you know, since August my girl, Fia has been out traveling, so can she be on your site? It looks like you put in alot of time doing it and it shows!
thanks again for doing this,
Lorelei

Thanks for the nice comments so far. Please say so if you don't like something, though. (Even if you just want to PM me.)
Anyone at any time can have their girl put on the site. Just PM me with her basic info, traveling schedule (if she has one yet), and any albums of her. If I need any more info I'll let you know.
Thanks again,
Lindsey

Josefina "Fia" as we call her was adopted in 1997, she went traveling in August to the west coast, we live in IN, so IN-Ut-CA-Tx-NY, where she is now, to NC-OH-IL-NY-OH-IL-IL-? that is what she has planned until April. She is 10 years old. If any hosts have pictures please send them to me, I got some from her first host, (btw, can she send them again, I seem to have lost them)
Is there anything else?
thanks,
Lorelei

Oh, I just noticed your location- your not super far from me. (Of course, this is Indiana- nowhere is "super far" from anywhere else LOL).
And that info seems to do the trick. Thanks.

That's a very good-looking site! It displays just fine on my browser; I don't know why you're berating your HTML skills. And excellent content! I'm sure your site will become an excellent resource!
If you want constructive criticism (OK, checking for typos ), I think I spotted a couple tiny errors. I did notice you ran together "hashad" as one word on the "How does it work?" section of your "FAQ" page. And I think it would be "the only cost involved is", not "the only costs involved is".
As far as suggestions, I have never hosted a traveling doll, but it seems like most of the dolls get gifts on each leg of their trip, so I'd probably make a note of that under costs...but you know more about this than I do!
(Edited because there's nothing more annoying than having your typing critiqued by someone who omits words in her sentences. )

I just notice our location after you pointed it out, maybe we can go to the AGPC together sometime. I usually pick up the indy to chicago train in lafayette(gma lives there), it is always nice to meet someone from here. My parents live in the suburbs of Chicago. I will be going up there beginning of next month for a week and then over winter break, & when in Chicago, we can't go home without visiting the AGP!
Just a thought.

Lindsey, I think your layout is terrific (as Julie suggested, I would do another check for typos and grammar)! Congratulations on what you have completed so far.
