Samantha was on a short, well-deserved celebratory holiday in Sabi-Sabi, Kruger National Park, South Africa. She lay by the pool, her tanned, athletic body

It was Sunday morning and almost all the other hotel guests were checking out. regulars were always in a hurry to get in and out in time for school or work,

Not wanting to cause trouble, Sam almost always graciously deferred when
pushed to relinquish one of the machines. She usually had no problem with
simply switching to the free weights. But one morning an especially surly, older
woman insisted Sam give up the leg press to her, and it really rubbed Sam the wrong way.
She complained to a friend, one of her classmates that also frequented the
gym, and the other girl chided her. "You're always too nice," she said, "Why
don't you stand up to these bitches and tell them to wait their turn?" Sam
stewed on it for a few minutes; the arrogant, condescending tone of the woman
had really ticked her off. With a nod of determination she marched over and
confronted her, only to receive the same haughty attitude. The auburn haired woman's temper
flared and she grabbed the shocked woman by the scruff of her neck, easily
hoisting her off the machine with one arm. The woman lashed out
at her and before anyone knew what was happening there was a catfight
happening in the middle of the gym.

And even though many fans never forgave her for becoming such a bad bitch in the ring, she couldn?t care less ? all that mattered was her winning ? she just adored being champion, and being feared, hated and envied by everyone.
She was thrilled out of her skin with her title victory, and with knowing she had sent
yet another message to the rest of the league: Don't fuck with Samantha. She had
come a long way since that day in the gym. With each easy victory she was
becoming more and more convinced she was truly unbeatable, and just couldn't help feeling a bit cocky about herself. With a sigh of contentment she put the book back down,
again shifting her weight in the creaking lounge chair. She made another quick
glance around the pool; still nobody in sight except the couple at the far
end. With a feeling of thankfulness for her solitude she put on her
sunglasses, closed her eyes and laid back to soak up the glorious African sun, which even in winter was still hot.
She had no idea how much time had passed when suddenly she could no longer
feel the sun's heat on her upper body. She opened her eyes to find herself in
shadow, and looked up to find the dark outline of a tall, large woman standing over
her, her features obscured by the sun directly behind her. "Um, Hi," Samantha
said with hesitation, surprised and also a little irritated by the sudden intrusion. She quickly pushed herself up straighter in the lounge chair as she squinted up at the stranger,
trying to make out her features against the background of bright sunlight.
The woman's face came into focus. She was wearing makeup. Her big
green eyes were thick with black eyeliner and mascara. Her high cheekbones
were pink with blush, her pretty face framed by straight, shoulder length auburn
hair. Samantha's gaze moved down to the black tank top she was wearing, cropped

put one foot on the edge of the lounge and leaned closer. "See, he wants to

Sam's hands froze inches away from the other woman's outstretched arm as

The auburn haired woman walked over to where Pete was standing, right next to the
