Have you seen?

The commercials for that new movie "Borat"? Apparently it is the glorification of yet another idiotic character only this time a foreign one. In the commercials they have been running they show the main character speaking at a rodeo and a clown tumbles into the mud right along with the US Flag tumbling into the mud with him. How utterly sickening that this production will no doubt generate hundreds of millions of dollars in profit. The sobs who wrote and produced this travesty make me sick. At least Clint Eastwood has a good movie out right now to counter balance such trash. When you think of the number of soldiers who died upholding our flag to keep it flying it makes my blood boil to see a movie come out like this. I wonder if Ted Turner is involved...

It's kinda like Yakov Smirnoff and his "I love this country" thing.
I might still see it, not sure yet. (I probably will on a $5 tuesday or with a freebie LOL!)

I'm going to see Flags Of Our Fathers eventually, almost did last night.

GL, you need to check out this comedian's previous incarnation, Ali G. You would probably enjoy him interviewing a U.N. diplomat and acting a complete fool, etc. etc....

Saw Flags Of Our Fathers tonight.
Interesting movie, really goes in depth into the subject.
Kinda graphic at times, but it needs to be due to the story it tells.

Bunch of stuff out I wanna see, or stuff soon to be released that I want to check out.

I find nothing amusing or funny about showing the US flag falling into the mud. Period. The movie could have been every bit as "edgy" without that in the scene. It was unnecessary and unacceptable. It's a movie I will never watch.

Sean have you seen (or will you see) the new movie titled "The Queen" about HRM QEII? I hear it has ruffled quite a few feathers at the Windsor house. Looks good though, I plan to see it.

I would kind of like to see "Marie Antoinette" with Kirsten Dunst, but when they don't even do enough research as to include in her lines "Let them eat cake" and present it as historical fact (she never said it, it was either Madame Du Barry or Madame Du Pompadour, historians disagree which of them said it but it was not Marie Antoinette. For one thing she was a Hapsburg and none of them were clever enough for such a bon mot) then I don't think the movie is worthy of my watching it.

Couldnt remember your views, But I saw this the other night.... What a dreadful film, Colin Farrell should never act again.

Saw the preview for Marie Antoinette, looks very "amadeus" like. Historical yet humerous.

My daughter saw the movie and said she doesn't utter that line in the movie. So I guess GL gotsta go see it now...
