I was watching Fox news this morning and saw a story about a little 8 year old girl, I missed the name of the city, who was not allowed to sing a song in a school program because it had the word God in it. Stories like this just blow my mind. What harm could that possibly do?
If we can't mention God. Then they should take it off the US currency.
This nation was founded for reasons such as this. Unable to be free. Yes there is a limit to demoralization but also, we were found on God.
"In God We Trust"?
There are a lot of things going on in our country that I just don't understand. It seems like the ACLU is determined to take God out of everything in this country. How did they become the watchdog of the American people? How did they get so much power?
You can tell the end is getting closer. I dont know how close but it is getting here. Things are only going to get worse. Makes me glad I trust in the Lord and he has saved my soul!
Parents sue New Jersey school for 'God' song ban

NEWARK, N.J. "? A public school prohibited a second grader from singing a religious song at a talent show, prompting a lawsuit Friday alleging violation of the girl's constitutional rights.
A federal judge declined an emergency request to compel Frenchtown Elementary School to allow 8-year-old Olivia Turton to sing "Awesome God" at the Friday night show, but allowed the lawsuit to go forward.
School officials in the western New Jersey community had said the performance would be inappropriate at a school event. A message seeking comment from a school board attorney about the judge's ruling was not immediately returned.
The decision by U.S. District Judge Stanley R. Chesler in Trenton to consider the case later came just hours before Olivia had hoped to sing the pop song by the late Rich Mullins.
One verse has these lyrics: "Our God is an awesome God/He reigns from heaven above/with wisdom, pow'r and love/Our God is an awesome God."
The girl was told May 10 that she could not sing the song. Her mother, Maryann Turton, protested at a school board meeting that night. She was told three days later by Joyce Brennan, the school superintendent and principal, that the religious content made it inappropriate at school, according to the lawsuit filed by the child's parents Friday morning.
The lawsuit charges that the school board violated Olivia's constitutional rights to freedom of speech and due process.
The lawsuit, supported by the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal advocacy group based in Scottsdale, Ariz., argues that the constitutional separation of church and state does not restrict an individual's religious speech.
The girl's lawyer, Demetrios K. Stratis, questioned how the Frenchtown school could reject Olivia's choice but allow another act based on the opening scene of "MacBeth."
"They've got a scene about boiling animals and witchcraft, but they won't allow a song about God," Stratis said.
And i hope they win this lawsuit. Time we quit fearing using the words this country was founded on.
"In God We Trust". Well do we? If we do then let's show it. Im not the most religious but using the Lord's name in vain, well i won't even do that unless by mistake and if i do. I ask God for his forgiveness.
Time this country remembers why it was Born, and the values it was Born on and why.
I think even the Bible says raise them in the way and they will return, not a direct quote but close enough. No wonder this country is all to hell. We forgot what we are teachings and the value system and what it use to be about.
I think a war was fought, to get what this country once held precious.
Well today is a good day to remember that and think back.
I love God. Of all the baloney people in this country are trying to pull, this is crazy. People trying to take Jesus Christ away from other people? Like I said, it's crazy.
I hope they win it. Stupid s... like this should not be going on.
