Tech vs. Maryland

Is anybody watching this game? Tech isn't playing well at all. Tech's winning 7 to 3 at the half.

Was watching earlier but turned it off because Maryland was getting stomped there near the end.

How many interceptions did Marcus Vick throw anyways?

Kind of ironic if you think about it... because right before the game we had a thread about Marcus and Michael Vick and if they were overrated or not. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I do agree though, Tech didn't play that well at all tonight. It took 'em quite a while to get steamed up enough to do some damage.

He is the second-most overrated player in football, behind Vince Young.

passing efficency is a terrible stat to compare quarterbacks. Brock Berlin completed 64% of his passes and had 13 td's/18 int's that season. Its easier to look at things from a game by game perpective.

he has one bad game...it wasnt even that bad of a game...he still had over 250 yards offense...some tipped passes and some sailed on him that got picked, happens to the best of em

Terry Bradshaw had a passer rating of like 60. He only won like 4 superbowls. Passer rating is the most bs stat in football.

Marcus Vick is NOT JESUS.

Vince Young is a WR lined up behind the fat guy who snaps the ball.

Both have good talent surronding them, Vick moreso than Young.

Second-highest rated passer, who throws three INT's against a mediocre at best Marlyand offense.

That stat, as Mega and Ironlung both pointed out, is pointless.
